Pins
HardSteel HS650P Chrome-Alloy Pins (often referred to as “overlay pins”) are manufactured to withstand the most severe wear in metal-to-metal applications. Our HS650P chrome-alloy pins will typically outlast OEM pins used in draglines, shovel buckets and many hinge and hoist rigging assemblies.
The base material for our HS650P pins is a high strength air-hardened alloy. This quality base material provides excellent tensile strength. Wear areas are undercut and hardfaced with tool steel for maximum hardness and extended wear. This combination can extended maintenance cycles by 300%.
HardSteel has complete machining capabilities to duplicate holes, keyways, and attachment points in your OEM pins, gudgeons, and coupling shafts. HardSteel HS650P pins are available for clamshell buckets backhoes, crusher shafts and pins, dragline and shovel buckets, shafts and pins for hammer mills, screw conveyor coupler shafts and pins, hinge pins in all industrial applications and sheave pins.
HS650P chrome-alloy pins are available from 2 1/2” to 20” diameters in lengths from 6” to 62”
